Sustainable Materials & Processes

At Ruba Zipper, sustainability begins with the materials we choose and extends through every stage of our production processes. We carefully evaluate each raw material, chemical, and auxiliary product to ensure compliance with global environmental standards and to minimize our ecological footprint. In line with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), we integrate recycled components into our zipper production responsibly, ensuring full traceability and environmental integrity.

Our manufacturing facilities operate with a strong focus on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource optimization. Thanks to the advantages of our industrial zone infrastructure, we make efficient use of steam, water treatment systems, and recycling processes. Heavy metal waste undergoes pre-treatment at our facility and is then further refined at the central treatment plant, ensuring safe and responsible disposal.

To support the transition to clean energy, we have activated solar energy systems with an installed capacity of 1.8 Mwp / 1.5 MWe, generating enough electricity to meet the annual needs of approximately 500 households. This investment prevents 1,230 tons of CO₂ emissions every year—equivalent to the annual absorption capability of 148,500 trees—and enables the reintroduction of 3,000 trees to nature annually.

Our sustainability approach is further supported by ISO 14001-certified environmental management practices, strict chemical management policies, and a supplier chain aligned with green procurement principles. By continuously improving our processes, selecting environmentally safe materials, and optimizing logistics and packaging, we strive to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and operate with maximum respect for the planet.

At Ruba Zipper, we believe that precision and responsibility must coexist. Our goal is to create durable, high-quality products using methods that protect both people and nature.
